Play Group for 2–3 year olds at Arka Kids
Stepping out of the home and into a learning environment for the first time is a big moment for your child. Our play group in Chennai helps toddlers aged 2 to 3 move gently and happily into learning, with play-based, Montessori-inspired days that are exciting, safe and enjoyable.

What a typical day looks like
- Circle time & music: interactive rhymes, songs and greeting routines to build language and rhythm.
- Sensory & fine motor activities: clay moulding, block building, sorting games and art play to refine hand–eye coordination.
- Imaginative play: picture books, puppet shows and guided role-play to spur imagination.
- Outdoor & gross motor fun: guided playtime in cushioned outdoor play spaces to build balance and physical confidence.
Questions parents ask
Not at all. Toilet learning is part of the toddler year and staff handle it as a matter of routine. Send a change of clothes and we will keep you posted on progress.
Toddler sessions run about two and a half hours in the morning. Daycare can extend that at most centres if you need longer.
Groups are small, with a certified lead teacher and an assistant who stay with the same children all year.
Some do for the first week or two. We will call you if a child does not settle within the session rather than leave you wondering.
Visits run on weekday mornings
